couples COUNSELING

Couple’s counseling is designed to bring about changes in your marital or dating relationship. Its goal is to assist you in developing a more satisfying and meaningful partnership.

Couple’s counseling will assist you to develop the ability to resolve problems that trouble your relationship and rob you of the joy you once found together. It may also deal with how you, as a couple, interact with your children and others. A primary focus of Couple's counseling is placed on the interaction dynamics of your marriage/relationship. Couple’s counseling involves such tasks as: clarifying roles, making expectations of one another explicit, sharing personal histories, analyzing communication patterns, discovering your individual triggers of conflict, learning new communication techniques, understanding your individual love languages and developing new ways of solving problems.

Individual COUNSELING

Individual counseling involves one-on-one sessions to address relational, and/or emotional challenges.

Individual counseling might include steps to solve undesirable patterns in relationships, emotional distress, or maladaptive behavioral patterns. Individual counseling also is a great place to address anxieties or spiritual concerns.

Family Counseling

Family counseling is based on the belief that the family is a unique social system with its own structure and patterns of communication. These patterns are determined by many factors, including the parents' beliefs and values, the personalities of all family members, and the influence of the extended family (grandparents, aunts, and uncles). As a result of these variables, each family develops its own unique personality, which is powerful and affects all of its members.
